Biography
Frederik Flemming is Technology Supervisor at Haldor Topsøe in the battery materials group. He received his B.Sc. Chem. Eng. from DTU, Lyngby in 1980 and has been working for several battery companies in Denmark and in the USA.
The work has been centered on battery research, development, design and applications engineering. Since the late 80’ies it has mainly been rechargeable lithium and lithium ion battery technology that Frederik has been dealing with. He is experienced with battery sizes ranging from the smallest cell for hearing aids to battery systems for use in electric vehicles and stationary use.
Battery companies Frederik has worked for include Hellesens A/S, Energy Research Laboratory A/S, Innovision A/S / Innocell Aps, Valence Technology Inc., Delphi Automotive, Danionics A/S, EnerDel Inc.
