We are excited to announce the first battery conference in the Nordic countries ever, which will be hosted by Uppsala University from the 4th to the 5th of December 2013!
The conference presents an opportunity to review the most recent advances in battery science, from materials development to cell electrochemistry and battery utilization for a range of different applications. It will provide a local Nordic platform for leading scientists and industrial representatives to communicate novel ideas and new findings, to inspire scientific breakthroughs and technological advances for energy storage solutions of the future.
Please see the list of the 20 invited speakers at http://www-conference.slu.se/nordbatteri2013/speakers.html
The NordBatt meeting will be a multidisciplinary forum with participants from primarily the Nordic countries Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland together with some internationally well-distinguished battery scientists. The focus of the meeting is primarily on Li-ion battery chemistry and future battery cell concepts, and will encompass anode, cathode and electrolyte materials, as well as cell and battery development. The need for improved batteries for electric vehicles will be particularly addressed.
We strongly urge you to submit papers for oral or poster presentation at the conference. Please read more about abstract submission at http://www-conference.slu.se/nordbatteri2013/abstract.html. Deadline for abstract submission is November 15, 2013.
