The Danish Battery Society is inviting to an interesting webinar on the merging battery technology
Solid State Batteries
Thursday 19th of November 2020 from 15:00 to 16:30 (CET)
Solid-state batteries (SSBs) are currently a hot topic in an effort to achieve higher energy density rechargeable batteries. At the Fraunhofer R&D Center for Electromobility at Fraunhofer ISC, a hybrid approach to SSBs is under investigation. This means that the best material for the job is used to form the various interfaces and the electrolyte(s) in the solid-state cell. We combine our expertise in materials development, process development and analytics to make our contribution to the next generation of rechargeable batteries.
- Welcome by Deputy Chairman of the Danish Battery Society, Poul Norby
- Solid State Battery research at Fraunhoffer INC, Dr. Guinevere Giffin, Head of Lithium-Ion-Technology at FZEB, Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC
