Mohammad Rezwan Khan is a PhD researcher at the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark. He previously worked on Mobility and automotive technology (MOBI) research group, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium and collaborated on various researches with Flemish Institute of Technological Research (VITO), Belgium. He received the Master degree in Material and Sensor Systems for Environmental Technologies from University of Bologna (UNIBO), Italy and Universidad Politecnica Valencia (UPV), Spain. His current research focuses include various characteristics and optimisation of the battery system.

I am a researcher in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, involved in the project “Advanced Lifetime Predictions for Battery Energy Storage”.

Nowadays my research focus is on Li-Ion battery testing, modeling, emulation, state evaluation, diagnosis tools and Battery Management Systems, as well as on Li-Ion battery systems novel designs and architectures for e-mobility applications.

I am a chemist and did my Ph D in physical chemistry/ electrochemistry from IISc, Bangalore, India. The overall goal of my research was to understand ion transport mechanism in succinonitrile based soft matter plastic crystalline electrolytes in Li-ion battery. Besides these fundamental studies, I have worked on liquid electrolytes and ionic liquids useful for lithium battery application. Afterwards I have worked in Aarhus university on solid electrolytes. Now I have joined in DTU energy conversion as a postdoc. My current topic of research is to investigate novel electrolytes for Li-O2 battery in terms of both fundamental and application basis.

Roberto Scipioni studied Industrial Chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome and got his Master of Science in 2012.
He is currently a Ph.D. student at Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in the Energy Conversion and Storage division and his research is focused on the investigation of performance and lifetime limiting effects in Li-ion batteries.
