The Danish authorities have emphasized the seriousness of the coronavirus and we believe that the responsible thing to do is to cancel our Annual Meeting planned on the 12th of March 2020 at DTU in Lyngby. The event is also denoted ‘Danish Battery Symposium 2020’ and ‘Årsmøde 2020’.
We had hoped that the coronavirus situation would not affect our Annual Meeting tomorrow. However, the most recent measures and guidelines regarding travel and meetings announced by Danish and foreign authorities and resulting implementation by companies and universities has prompted canceled participation from many participants and speakers.
The Board of the Danish Battery Society is considering to change the meeting to a series of online webinars, but we will meet shortly to decide on format and timing and will inform you as soon as it is in place – hopefully within a week or two depending on speakers’ and participant availability and the health situation in Europe.
Practical details regarding payments and refunds will be addressed at a later time.
