Tid og sted: 18. juni 2019 kl. 11:00-11:45, webinar.
Poul Alberg Østergaard, professor at the Department of Planning at Aalborg University, will be presenting some of the findings of his on storage and smart energy systems. While electrical storage has the most immediate effects on the balancing of fluctuating renewables in the energy system, it is also the most expensive way to provide flexibility in the energy system. Sector integration and storage elsewhere in the energy system should take precedence, however for a fully renewable energy system under Danish conditions, some level of electrical storage will be required. Systems effects of storage and placement will be evaluated in the talk.
During the presentation you can send questions, which will be answered in the last part of the webinar.
